You can check your Gift Card’s expiry date at Manage My WISH Gift Card or by calling 1300 665 249. Expired cards can not be redeemed or reactivated. 2. What is my WISH Gift Card PIN? Your PIN can be found on the back of your WISH Gift Card. It is a 4 digit number and is required when viewing your Gift Card details online or accessing them via 1300 665 249 and when making a purchase with the WISH Gift Card. 3. How do I know how much money is left on my WISH Gift Card? You can check your Gift Card balance at Manage My WISH Gift Card, by calling 1300 665 249 or at a participating store, just ask a staff member to assist you. 4. Where can I use my WISH Gift Card? You can use a WISH Gift Card to purchase goods or services at participating Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets, CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets, BIG W, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith PowerHouse, Tandy, BWS, First Estate, and Dan Murphy's stores. Why can't I use my WISH Gift Card to purchase fuel at ALL CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets? We hope to change this situation in the future, but as mentioned in our Point of Sale material WISH Gift Card can be used towards purchases at Participating Stores. Not all CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets have the facilities to accept the WISH Gift Card transactions at this time. To find out which stores are participating click here. Woolworths apologies for any inconvenience. 6. How do I activate my card? WISH Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase at the register in store. If your card is not activated there may have been a problem with your WISH Gift Card being activated during the time of purchase. In order to help you with your enquiry we will need proof of purchase for your WISH Gift Card. If you do not have proof of purchase we will need the following information: the store that the card was purchased at, date of purchase, time of purchase and amount of the card so we can investigate it in our system. 7. What do I do if when my WISH Gift Card is swiped in the EFTPOS terminal a message stating 'Bad Read' appears? It may be that the magnetic stripe on the rear of your card has become demagnetised. If you visit the customer service desk within a Woolworths / Safeway Supermarket or BIG W store, and speak with a service supervisor, they can transfer your available balance and expiry date onto a new WISH Gift Card. 8. Can I use my WISH Gift Card at participating CALTEX / Woolworths Co branded fuel outlets with my fuel savings voucher? Yes, if you have a fuel savings voucher you can use this at a participating CALTEX / Woolworths Co branded Fuel outlet to receive your savings on fuel purchase and pay the amount owing using your WISH Gift Card (at CALTEX Woolworths Co branded fuel outlet WISH Gift Card participating stores) 9. For what amounts can I purchase a WISH Gift Card? You can buy a WISH Gift Card for any value from $10 to $500. 10. How can I pay for a WISH Gift Card? You can purchase a WISH Gift Card with cash, credit card or debit card. Cheque payment is not accepted in store, but is available through our Gift Card Team. For a full list of participating stores click here 13. How do I buy a WISH Gift Card? You will find the WISH Gift Card displayed in Participating Stores. Take a WISH Gift Card to any register in-store and let the register operator know how much you would like to charge the WISH Gift Card to (between $10 and $500). The register operator will then request payment. Once payment has been processed they will load the requested value onto the WISH Gift Card. 14. Can I buy something that costs more or less than the value on my WISH Gift Card? Yes. If the purchase is less than the value on your WISH Gift Card, the purchase will be deducted from your Gift Card balance and the remaining balance can be used until the value reaches zero or the card expires. If the purchase is more than the value on your Gift Card you will need to pay for the difference between the balance on your card and the purchase amount using another form of tender. 15. Can I use more than one WISH Gift Card in a purchase? Yes, in the majority of participating stores more than one WISH Gift Card can be used to make a purchase, however in selected CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets only one WISH Gift Card can be used per purchase. 16.
